FAQ's
How do I care for and maintain my women's running gloves?
Machine-wash your women’s running gloves in cold water on the “gentle” cycle. Use a mild detergent. Let them air dry. You can also hand wash your women’s winter gloves in the same mix of cold water and mild detergent. Store your gloves in a cool, dry place.
Should winter gloves be tight or loose?
Your women’s winter gloves should feel snug, but not fit too tightly. You should be able to move your fingers freely. If your gloves are too tight, blood flow can be restricted and your hands will get colder more quickly; if they’re too loose, cold air will get inside.
Are there touchscreen winter gloves?
Yes! TrailHeads makes winter gloves that feature a touchscreen fabric. Many of our gloves have special conductive fabric on the thumb and forefinger, making it easy to use your phone, keypad, or smart device. Our gloves are perfect for keeping you connected while you’re out on a run.
How do I determine the right size for running gloves?
Use a measuring tape to measure the length from your wrist to the tip of your middle finger. Then compare with the sizing chart for the running gloves of your choice and select your fit. If you are somewhere in between, we often suggest sizing down because many of our gloves are made with 4-way stretch fabric and a snugger fit can provide greater warmth and improve touchscreen functionality.
Can running gloves improve grip during workouts?
Our women's running gloves have silicon grippers on the palm. These women's winter gloves offer superior grip to help you keep hold of your dog's leash, your phone, keys, steering wheel or anything else you have to hold.
