What are convertible mittens? Convertible mittens are a type of hand wear that allows you to choose whether to wear the mitten top or fold it back. This feature gives you the option of easily freeing your fingers for tasks like using your phone or your keys, without taking the whole mitten off. It also allows temperature moderation. To keep warm pull the mitten cover on, should your hands get too hot you can vent by folding the cover back.
Will these women’s mittens fit me? To determine whether these winter mittens will be a good fit, measure your hand from your wrist to the tip of your middle finger. A small / medium will fit hands that measure 7-7 ¾” and a medium large will fit hands from 7 ¾”- 8 ½” inches.
If I am between sizes should I size up or down? If your hand measures on the border between small / medium and medium / large we typically recommend sizing down. The fabric offers stretch and recovery to accommodate varying hand sizes and a snugger fit tends to be warmer.
What is the temperature rating for these merino mittens? One of our warmest styles - we recommend these mittens for temperatures 15°+. Please keep in mind our temperature ratings are made with a moderate activity level in mind. Everyone has a different level of tolerance for cold. Some users may find these mittens work for temperatures above or below our recommendation depending on personal preference.
